Forge FC host CF Montreal 27 October – Toronto FC host Pacific FC 3 November
TORONTO. - Canada Soccer’s Canadian Championship Semi-Final Round kicks off 27 October in Hamilton, Ontario as Forge FC host CF Montréal for a chance in the 2021 Canadian Championship Final. Toronto FC host Pacific FC in the second Semi-Final scheduled for 3 November at Toronto’s BMO Field. Both matches will air live and exclusively on OneSoccer, available as a linear channel on Telus’s Optik TV (Channel 980) as well as online at OneSoccer.ca, through the OneSoccer app and on the fuboTV Canada platform.

Major League Soccer’s CF Montréal and Toronto FC, as well as the Canadian Premier League’s Forge FC entered the competition in the Quarter-Final Round. The race to the 2021 Canadian Championship Final and Voyageurs Cup trophy resumed in Hamilton when Forge FC defeated fellow CPL club Valour FC 2:1 to open the round on 15 September. HFX Wanderers FC fell to two late goals by CF Montréal in a 1:3 loss in Halifax. Toronto FC posted a 4:0 victory to move past CPL’s York United FC at BMO Field in Toronto, and Pacific FC moved into their first Canadian Championship Semi-Final defeating Cavalry FC 0:1 away at Spruce Meadows in Calgary to cap off a 22 September Quarter-Final Round tripleheader.
The 2021 Canadian Championship Preliminary Round opened with an all-Alberta affair that saw Cavalry FC defeat Al Classico rivals FC Edmonton 2:0 at Edmonton’s Clarke Stadium on 15 August. Première ligue de soccer du Québec champions AS Blainville travelled to Halifax, NS to face HFX Wanderers FC at Wanderers Grounds on 17 August coming up just short in a 2:1 loss. League1 Ontario Champions Master’s Futbol Academy fell 5:0 to York United FC at York Lions Stadium in North York, ON in the first of two Canadian Championship matches on 21 August with hosts Atletico Ottawa falling 3:2 to Valour FC in the second match at Ottawa’s TD Place. In the final match of the Preliminary Round, Pacific FC defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 4:3 at Starlight Stadium in Langford, BC on 27 August.
The Canadian Championship is the highest domestic club competition and leads to a direct entry into the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League with an opportunity to play in the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup. The current champions are CF Montréal who won the 2019 Canadian Championship. Les demi-finales du Championnat canadien 2021 se mettent en branle
TORONTO. - La ronde demi-finale de l’édition 2021 du Championnat canadien de Canada Soccer démarrera le 27 octobre à Hamilton en Ontario quand le Forge FC accueillera le CF Montréal pour une place en finale du Championnat canadien 2021. Le Toronto FC accueillera le Pacific FC dans la deuxième demi-finale, le 3 novembre au BMO Field de Toronto. Le CF Montréal et le Toronto FC de la MLS ainsi que le Forge FC de la Première Ligue canadienne ont fait leur entrée dans la compétition en quarts de finale. Le parcours vers la finale du Championnat canadien 2021 et la Coupe des Voyageurs a repris à Edmonton quand le Forge FC a vaincu ses rivaux de la PLC, le Valour FC par la marque de 2-1 pour lancer les quarts de finale, le 15 septembre. HFX Wanderers FC s’est incliné 3-1 à Halifax aux mains du CF Montréal. Le Toronto FC a blanchi le club York United FC de la PLC 4-0 au BMO Field de Toronto, puis le Pacific FC a vaincu le Cavalry FC 1-0 sur la surface de Spruce Meadows à Calgary pour conclure un trio de matchs au menu des quarts de finale, le 22 septembre.
La ronde préliminaire du Championnat canadien de 2021 a démarré avec une bataille de l’Alberta où le Cavalry FC a vaincu ses rivaux du FC Edmonton 2-0 au Stade Clarke d’Edmonton, le 15 août. Le Championnat canadien est le plus haut niveau de compétition national de club et conduit directement à une place de qualification à la Ligue des Champions de la Concacaf Banque Scotia 2022 avec une occasion d’accéder à la Coupe du Monde des Clubs de la FIFA 2022.
