Festival Volunteers assist in a variety of roles in the following areas:

Theatre venues:

Providing customer service and front-of-house assistance, including but not limited to managing lineups, scanning tickets, ushering, and encouraging the public to vote for the Grolsch People’s Choice Award

With eight venues in operation, this is where the majority of support is required

Industry Centre:

Directing delegates to registration and pass pickup desks, offering information about Industry programming, and assisting with various administrative and operational tasks at Industry venues

You'll Need To Have

• Spanish mother tongue

• 3+ years of professional translation and localization experience, ideally with software localization, or translation/review experience for technology companies

• Proven experience translating, transcreating, copywriting, localizing and reviewing content that transfers the original intent and meaning of the source material without coming across as a translation

• BA/BS or equivalent 4-year university degree

• Continue to build, onboard and manage a roster of freelancers, as needed
